Azad Molla declares his candidacy in Sultanpur UP

Prominent social worker Md. Azad Molla, a potential chairman candidate seeking support and prayers in the upcoming UP election, is a prominent social worker. He is the only son of the former chairman of Sutarpara Union, the late Anisur Rahman @ Suruj Molla.
His grandfather's name is the late Abdul Quddus Molla @ Chan Molla. He is a descendant of the traditional Molla family of Sutarpara Union. Recently, posts with pictures of various candidates are being seen on the social media Facebook in Sutarpara Union around the upcoming UP election.
In this, various questions are being asked in the public's mind about the UP election and the names of their favorite people. Among them, prominent social worker Md. Azad Molla, the only son of the former chairman of Sutarpara Union, the late Anisur Rahman @ Suruj Molla, is at the top of the discussion. In addition, the names of several other candidates are being heard in Sutarpara. Finally, Md. Azad Molla has announced his candidacy and sought the support and prayers of all the residents of Sutarpara Union in Dohar Upazila. He felt that development at the union level is necessary to make Sutarpara Union happy and beautiful and society. In continuation of this, he called for support and voting in the upcoming Union Parishad elections to make Sutarpara Union a model union.
He told the media that he will contest as a chairman candidate in this year's UP elections to keep the wheels of development of the society moving and to stand by the people in happiness and sorrow. In addition, he has become known as a symbol of trust of the people in every ward of the union, regardless of religion, caste, party affiliation. Md. Azad Molla's father, the late Anisur Rahman @ Suruj Molla, was elected as the first Chairman (President) of Sutarpara Union Parishad in 1965.
After that, he served the people as Chairman until 1972. Later, he stepped down from the post of Chairman when he fell ill. His father Suruj Molla was a founder member of Dohar Thana BNP. Azad Molla was born on December 29, 1966, in the Sutarpara Molla family. In 1984, he passed the SSC examination from Malikanda School and College. He could not continue his studies due to the death of his father and family expenses.
Earlier, he contested as a Chairman candidate in the 2022 UP elections. In the Awami League's non-voter elections, his closest rival, Union Awami League President Nasir Uddin, was elected Chairman.
Azad Mollah said, "I do not have any political title. I am serving as the president of Sutarpara Bazar and Business Association. I want to live in harmony with the people of the union. I want to always be by their side in their happiness and sorrow. I want to work for the welfare of everyone with all my ability." He wants to serve the deprived and neglected people of the union if he wins the upcoming UP elections. To further consolidate his position as a chairman candidate in the UP elections, he is constantly running to every road junction, tea shop, various streets and neighborhoods of the union and exchanging views with voters day and night. He claims that he is exchanging greetings with elders in the area and exchanging views on various issues.
He further said, "For the development of Sutarpara Union, I am running for the post of Chairman in the upcoming Union Parishad elections to make it a poverty-free, education-friendly, non-discriminatory ideal union." I seek prayers and support from the elders, brothers, friends, mothers and sisters of my area and the people of the Union.
It mentioned that during the Karna period, when people were living inhuman lives and were not able to eat twice a day, Azad Mollah and other members of his family stood by the people, delivered food to every house, and arranged for treatment for sick patients."
