Autorickshaw driver’s body found mysteriously in Hatibandha River

Police recovered the body of Ariful Islam (30), an autorickshaw driver, from the Chhoto Satin River in Hatibandha, Lalmonirhat, on Wednesday.
Ariful, known as “Pistul,” was from Tepatari village in Aditmari. He went missing on Monday after leaving home with his autorickshaw and never returned.
Locals found his body floating in the river and called police. He was wearing only jeans. People suspect he was killed and dumped in the river.
Police said the body was recovered and an investigation is underway.
