The army has conducted a raid on a hideout of the United People's Democratic Front (UPDF) in the remote hills of Sajek in Baghaichhari Upazila of Rangamati.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that a huge amount of weapons, ammunition and military equipment were recovered during the raid conducted on Tuesday morning. The raid is ongoing, it was also informed in a statement.
In a statement, the ISPR said that the army conducted a raid on the hideout of the UPDF in the remote hills of Baghaihat, Sajek Union, Baghaichhari Upazila of Rangamati. During this, an exchange of fire took place with the UPDF. Later, weapons and ammunition including AK-47 rifles were recovered from the hideout of the UPDF.
