Arafat Rahman Koko Memorial 8-team Volleyball Tournament and cultural evening was held in Kalia, Narail with great fanfare.
Teams from different areas participated in this competition organized by Salamabad Union BNP No. 5 at the Joypur School Ground of the upazila on Saturday.
Narail District BNP President Biswas Jahangir Alam handed over the prizes to the winners in the evening after the game. Upazila BNP President Sardar Anwar Hossain, Municipal BNP President Sheikh Selim Hossain, General Secretary Selim Reza Yusuf, Organizing Secretary Haider Alam, former councilor Ikram Reza and others were also present at the time. Journalists from various print and electronic media were also present.
The organizers said that such events will continue in the future to encourage the youth through sports. The audience enjoyed songs, dances, and recitations performed by local artists during the cultural evening.
