Anti-discrimination student movement marches on highway in Goalando

In Rajbari's Goalando, 9-point demand was held to show solidarity with the ongoing anti-discrimination movement in the country and to protest the arrest, killing and 9-point demand of ordinary students in the country.
On Saturday at around 2.30 pm, around 200 students from different colleges gathered at Goalando Government Kamrul Islam College. Meanwhile, the students took out a mass procession with placards of various demands.
The area was buzzing with the slogan 'We for Justice'. The procession left the college and circled the Municipal Jamtala via the Dhaka-Khulna highway and came to the Goalando bus stand and sat on the highway for 10 minutes and spoke about their demands. At this time, vehicles move on one side of the highway. Later, the students went to the same place and announced the end of the procession. During the procession, the Goalando Ghat police station is in front of the procession to avoid chaos.
Students of Jahangir Nagar University in the protest march, Md. Rashedul Islam, student of Maulana Bhasani University of Science and Technology, Nasimul Hasan, student of Rajbari Government College. About two hundred students of various colleges including Sazen Hossain participated in the protest march.
Officer-in-charge of Goalando Ghat police station OC Pranbandhu Chandra Biswas said, thinking about the safety of the students and the lives of the country, we were in front and behind the procession. Goalando held a peaceful protest.
