Longadu Upazila Ansar VDP of Rangamati has initiated a 10-day village-based basic training for VDP members of Hajachhra area of No. 6 Mainimukh Union.

On Monda ) at 10 am, village-based 10-day basic training (1st phase-2023-24) among the platoon members of VDP in Hajachhara Noorani Madrasah of Hajachhra area of No. 6 Mainimukh Union under Longadu Upazila of Rangamati Hill District under the chairmanship of Upazila Ansar VDP Officer Md. Manjur Alam MorshedheldMr. Md. Abdul Barek Sarkar, Chairman of Longadu Upazila Parishad, was present as the chief guest in the event.

Among others present in the event were Longadu Upazila Company Commander Md Emdadul Haque, Sadar Union Ansar Commander Md Shariful Islam, Mainimukh Union Ansar Commander Md Babul Mia, teacher and journalist Md Ershad Ali and union Ansar VDP party leader Parveen Akhter along with 32 men from Hajachhra area and 32 All female trainees.

In the speech of the chief guest, Md. Abdul Barek Sarkar said, the members of Ansar VDP participated in the training and called on the trainees to contribute directly to the control of drug trade, liquor, gambling and overall law and order in the area.

He praised and encouraged the members of Ansar VDP in various activities of the upazila.Upazila Ansar VDP officer Md. Manjur Alam Morshed said that during the 10-day basic training, the students were trained in poultry farming, cattle breeding, fish farming, tree planting and forestry, great freedom and liberation war, disaster management, dengue and malaria prevention, social law and order protection.

Including the twelfth national parliament Training will be provided on Ansar VDP's duties and responsibilities in elections.He also informed that 32 men and 32 women will be trained for 10 days from August 20 to August 30, 2023 (first phase 2023-24 fiscal year).
