Minister for Relief & Rehabilitation and Chairman of the Management Committee of the Rangpur Medical College Hospital, Principal Asadul Habib Dulu MP, said that all irregularities in Rangpur Medical College Hospital will be eliminated.

He was talking to journalists after visiting Rangpur Medical College Hospital on Thursday.

During this time, he spoke to various officials and employees of the hospital, visited various wards in the hospital and talked to patients. He listened carefully to the various problems of the hospital and was assured to solve them very quickly.

While talking to reporters after the hospital visit, he said that 10 more beds will be added to the existing 10 ICU beds in Rangpur Medical College Hospital within the next two months. Regarding the problems related to the cabins of the patients, the minister said that from now on, arrangements will be made for one attendant to stay in each cabin along with the patient.

Regarding the problem of transporting patients, the minister said, “Due to the lack of uninterrupted supply of anesthesia, patients face problems in surgery and in many cases, patients even die. To solve this problem, arrangements will be made to supply anesthesia continuously from now on.”

The minister, mentioning many irregularities at Rangpur Medical College Hospital, said, “Many syndicates work here in the transport of bodies. Therefore, a list of all the ambulances working here should be made and their fare should be determined according to the mileage. In this case, a committee will supervise this activity and it will be conducted accordingly.”

The minister said about the inadequacy of CCTV cameras at Rangpur Medical College Hospital that sufficient CCTV cameras will be installed here so that the law and order situation is maintained.
