AGM of LKSS held

The 22nd Annual General Meeting of the LGED Kallyan Samabaya Samitilyb (LKSS) Ltd. was held on Saturday at the Kamrul Islam Siddique Auditorium of the LGED Headquarters. The meeting was presided over by LKSS President Md. Abdur Rashid Miah.
Md. Anwar Hossain, Convener of the 22nd AGM Preparation Committee of LKSS Ltd., delivered the welcome speech. The Managing Director of LKSS Ltd., Md. Belal Hossain, presented the proceedings of the 21st AGM as well as the annual report of the 22nd meeting.
President Md. Abdur Rashid Miah stated that continued efforts would be made to make the cooperative more dynamic, profitable, and welfare-oriented through active participation from all members. Since its inception, the foundation of the cooperative has been strengthened through the combined efforts of its members and the tireless work of the Board of Directors.
Director of Finance, LKSS Ltd., Md. Ataur Rahman, presented the revised budget for the fiscal year 2024–25 and the proposed budget for 2025–2026, both of which were unanimously approved by the members through a voice vote.
Among others, former Chief Engineer of LGED Md. Rezaul Karim, A.K. Azad, Dr. Sushankar Chandra Acharya, Md. Matiar Rahman, and Gopal Krishna Debnath also spoke at the event. Former Chief Engineers Md. Wahidur Rahman and Sheikh Mohammad Mohsin addressed the meeting via Zoom, while former Chief Engineers Md. Shahidul Hasan, Md. Nurul Islam, and Md. Abdur Rashid Khan also joined the event virtually.
