Adviser Fauzul Kabir visits Sandwip Bashbaria Ferry Ghat

Muhammad Fauzul Kabir Khan Adviser to the Ministry of Power and Mineral Resources, Road Transport and Bridges and Railways visited Bashbaria Ferry Ghat on Wednesday.
During this time, he provided various directions regarding ensuring housing and drinking water for employees working at the ghat and ferry, construction of parking yards and passenger shelters, ferry ticketing system, priority availability in vehicle loading, control of fishermen's nets on the waterway, and installation of new geo tubes to ensure safety of pontoons and approach roads, among other things. Senior officials of the concerned organizations were present during the inspection.
On behalf of BIWTA, he was accompanied by Rakibul Islam Talukder, Chief Engineer (Dredging), Sabur Khan, Joint Director (Navy-SOP), ASM Ashrafuzzaman, Supervising Engineer (Pur), Kamruzzaman, Deputy Director (BOP), Enamul Haque, Deputy Director (Navy-SOP), Selim Reza, Assistant Engineer (Pur) and other concerned officers and employees.
