Accused dies in Rajbari District Jail

An inmate of Rajbari District Jail has died. He died on Tuesday at around 6:30 am while undergoing treatment at Rajbari Sadar Hospital.
The name of the accused is Shahidul Biswas (43). He is the son of Abul Biswas of Bahirchar village of Baharpur union of Baliakandi upazila.
Jail Superintendent of Rajbari District Jail Mohammad Abdur Rahim confirmed the truth of the incident and said that Shahidul Islam was accused in the case of check forgery. He was admitted to Rajbari Sadar Hospital when he fell ill early todayLater he died half an hour after admission. Doctors said he died due to cardiac arrest. After post-mortem, the body will be handed over to his relatives.
Rajbari Sadar Hospital Senior Staff Brother Md. Abdullah Al Mamun said, at around 6:30 in the morning, a person was brought to the hospital in a sick condition from the district jail. Later he was admitted to the hospital. He died there while undergoing treatment.
