According to the complaint submitted to the ACC, Liku and his family members got Aladdin's lamp in their hands after being appointed as personal assistant to the Prime Minister by a district level student leader of Gopalganj. The entire family's wealth swelled hundreds of times.

The allegations raised questions about Liku's huge wealth. It is said that he has built a huge 10-storey building on one and a half bigha land in Madhu City located in Basila, Dhaka.

Several multi-storied buildings have been constructed in Gopalganj city under the ownership of his brothers and sisters-in-law, brothers and other relatives. Liku has bought about 500 bigha of agricultural land around Kotalipara and Gopalganj Sadar. He made farms and enclosures in them.

The capital's Gabtali bus terminal has been leased in the name of Liku people. He also did contracting business in various offices. The Likur family owns Welcome Paribahan, which operates between Dhaka and South Bengal.

When asked about this, a senior official of the ACC, who did not want to reveal his name, said, "The principled decision to investigate has been made after receiving multiple complaints from the locals." However, the investigation officer has not been appointed yet.
