A section fails to yield benefits after meeting Trump: Yunus

Staff Correspondent

Blaming the ousted Awami League for hatching anti-state conspiracy home and abroad, Chief Adviser Prof Mohammad Yunus has said that a certain section has failed to yield benefits after holding a meeting with US President Donald Trump.

“Their efforts are hindered at every step. They cooked up many stories. Finally, they made a story before Trump, but failed to run the propaganda,” he said while addressing the first meeting of the National Consensus Commission held at the Foreign Service Academy in Dhaka on Saturday afternoon.

Though the ousted Awami League spreading lies against Bangladesh, there is international support for the interim government, said the chief adviser.
