8th anniversary of BGB celebrated in Chapainawabganj

The 8th anniversary of Border Guard Bangladesh Rahanpur Battalion (59 BGB) was celebrated in Chapainawabganj through colourful arrangements.
Cake cutting, discussion meeting, battalion assembly and lunch were organized on the occasion of the establishment anniversary at the headquarters of the battalion in Gobaratla of Sadar Upazila on Sunday noon.
In the event, BGB Rajshahi Sector Commander Colonel Md. Imran Ibn A Rauf, Deputy Commissioner AKM Galiv Khan, Captain of Chapainawabganj Battalion (53 BGB) Lt. Colonel Md. Nahid Hossain, Captain of Chapainawabganj Rahanpur Battalion (59 BGB) Lt. Colonel Golam Kibria, Superintendent of Police Md. Shaidul Hasan and various levels of officers and soldiers of 59 BGB along with journalists were present.
