
6th CJEN Bangladesh Networking Confce kicks off in Khulna University today

With the theme “Constructive Journalism: Media’s Search for Solutions”, the 6th CJEN Bangladesh Networking Conference 2022 will begin today ( Sunday) in Khulna University.
Mass Communication and Journalism Discipline of Khulna University and DW Akademie jointly organised the conference.
The two-day conference will start on December 3 and end on December 4.
The conference deliberation will be on the theme “Constructive Journalism: Media’s Search for Solutions.” The conference's purpose is to bring together academics, researchers and industry-leading experts in the sphere of communication and journalism who are interested in exploring the problems and prospects of these sectors.
Communication and Journalism Educators Network (CJEN) is a non-profit organization of academicians who are experts in the field of communication and mass media. DW Akademie is an international centre for media development of Deutsche Welle (DW), a Germany-based international broadcaster. This time the sixth session of the conference is going to be held at Khulna University.
The main topic of this year's conference is Constructive Journalism. This new concept discourages various problems including mass media's overemphasis on negative issues and sensationalism, and also focuses on solution-based journalism.
