BNP Convener of Natore district Shahidul Islam Bachchu was injured by miscreants.

He was taken to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital in a critical condition from Modern Sadar Hospital.

Later he was taken to Dhaka PG Hospital for better treatment. The incident took place in front of Government Girls High School in Alaipur on Wednesday (July 3) around 9 am. At the same time, miscreants attacked 5 people, including former mayor of Rajshahi City Corporation (RASIK) Mosaddek Hossain Bulbul, who came to the function in front of the district BNP office.

The injured are former mayor of Rajshahi City Corporation (RASIK) Mosaddek Hossain Bulbul, district BNP convenor Shahidul Islam Bachchu, volunteer team joint secretary Sabbir Hossain Chapal, district labor team office secretary Rafiqul Islam, 5th ward BNP general secretary Hitlu.

District BNP joint convener Farhad Ali Dewan Shaheen said that there was a rally in the district BNP office in the morning demanding the release and proper treatment of BNP chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia. District BNP convener Shahidul Islam Bachchu was coming to join the rally. At that time, when he came in front of the city's government girls' high school, the Awami League terrorists hacked him to death.

In this, his legs and hands are bleeding in different parts of the body. He was rescued and taken to Nato Modern Sadar Hospital in critical condition. If the condition worsens, he is taken to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital for better treatment. He was then taken to PG Hospital in Dhaka.

At the same time, 6 people including former mayor of Rajshahi City Corporation Mosaddek Hossain Bulbul were attacked in front of BNP office.

He also said, strongly condemning and protesting the incident of this attack. I will request the administration to arrest those involved quickly and bring them under the law.

OC of Natore Sadar Police Station. Mizanur Rahman said, I have heard the matter. He and the policemen were in front of the BNP office since morning. I have not received any complaints about this. Complaints will be investigated and action will be taken.
