On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the private organization Heed Bangladesh, the Golden Jubilee Festival was held in Kamalganj of Moulvibazar with the slogan of Heed Amar, I am Heed and the awarding of higher education and one-time scholarships to meritorious students.

On Friday at 10 am in Kamalganj Upazila Parishad Auditorium organized by HEED Bangladesh Moulvibazar region under the chairmanship of the Executive Director of HEED Bangladesh and Chairman of Edab Anwar Hossain, Director of Sylhet Health Department was present as the chief guest Anisur Rahman. Kamalganj Upazila Nirbahi Officer Makhan Chandra Sutradhar, Assistant Commissioner (Land) DM Sadiq Al Shafin, Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Mahbubul Alam Bhuiyan were present as special guests.

In the beginning, the guests inaugurated the golden jubilee festival by flying balloons and pigeons.

Head Bangladesh Liagu Officer Nore Alam Siddiqui and Rita Mondal participated in the discussion, Edab Director Jasim Uddin, Head Bangladesh Additional Director Operations Rana Bhowmik, Project Director Munuru Jacob Das, Assistant Director Loan Program Advait Kumar Biswas, Moulvibazar Regional Manager Subrata Campu, Kamalganj. Press Club convener MA Wahid Rulu and others.

In the event, the Heed Bangladesh cultural group presented the activities of Heed Bangladesh in a song. Also, a video documentary of various activities of Heed Bangladesh in 50 years was shown and dance performances were performed with the participation of child artistes.

At the end of the program, 90 students who obtained GPA 5 and 221 students who obtained GPA 4 of Heed family members were given a one-time scholarship of 13 lakh 34 thousand taka.
