5 killed in Feni road accident

At least five people were killed and 10 others injured as a covered van hit a pickup van on the Dhaka-Chattogram Highway in Feni Sadar upazila on Monday evening.
The deceased were construction workers by profession, but details of their identities could not be known immediately.
Confirming the news of casualties, Mohipur highway police station Officer-in-Charge Harunur Rashid said the incident took place in the Dakkhin Maizbaria Hafezia Madrasa area where the covered van rammed the pickup van from behind.
The victims were returning to Feni from Chattogram by the pickup van.
Five people died on the spot while the injured were sent to Feni General Hospital, the OC added.
