5 brokers detained in Chandpur Government Hospital

Police arrested 5 brokers for harassing and cheating patients from remote rural areas in Chandpur Government General Hospital. on Monday.
SI Zakir Hossain of Chandpur Sadar Model Police Station and the accompanying Force arrested them.
The arrested brokers are Alam (28), Deepak De (23) Mahim Gazi (19) Raihan Gazi (19) Riyad Hossain (25).
SI Zakir Hossain said, these brokers were harassing the patients and relatives of the patients and the patients outside the hospital. They actually take people from villages to specific diagnostic centers for various diseases and collect extra money. Simple people are harassed as they cheat in various ways. They were arrested on the basis of such complaints by the hospital authorities.
Chandpur Sadar Model Police Station OC Md. Sheikh Mohsin Alam said that 5 people have been sent to court due to complaints against the detained persons.
