5 Bangladeshi artistes nominated for Filmfare Awards Bangla

Five Bangladeshi artistes, actors Jaya Ahsan, Tasnia Farin, Aupee Karim, Shohel Mondol and singer Mahtim Shakib, have been nominated for the Tollywood prestigious awards for cinema, Joy Filmfare Awards Bangla in Kolkata.
Among the artistes, noted actor Jaya Ahsan has been nominated for Best Actress Award in a leading role (female) for “Dawshom Awbotaar” and Best Actress in a supporting role (female) for “Ardhangini”.
Tasnia Farin also got two nominations for her debut Tollywood film “Aaro Ek Prithibi”. She has been nominated for Best Actress (critics) and Best Debutant in female category.
On the other hand, Aupee Karim has earned a nomination for “Mayar Jonjal” in the Best Actress (critics) category.
Shohel Mondol has also been nominated in the Best Actor in a supporting role (male) category for his performance in the film “Mayar Jonjal.”
Meanwhile, Mahtim Shakib has been nominated for Best playback singer for lend his voice to the song “Tumi Jantei Paronna” from the film “Cheeni-2”.
The grand awards ceremony honouring the finest talents from Bengali cinema will be held at the ITC Royal Bengal in Kolkata on 29 March.
