47th National Science and Technology Week, Science Fair inaugurated at Longadu

"Science and Technology in Building an Innovation-Based Bangladesh" keeping this theme in mind, the opening and closing of the 47th National Science and Technology Week and Science Fair, 10th Science Olympiad and 10th Science Quiz Competition-2026 were held in Longadu.
The opening and closing ceremony was held under the chairmanship of Upazila Nirbahi Officer Jahangir Hossain at Upazila Auditorium under the supervision of National Science and Technology Museum organized by Longadu Upazila Administration and under the supervision of National Science and Technology Museum at 10 am on Wednesday, April 15.
Upazila Agriculture Officer Md. Wasif Rahman, Upazila Horticulture Officer Md. Asif Mahmud, Assistant Surgeon at Longadu Upazila Health Complex Dr. Faria Islam Ria, Longadu Upazila Primary Education (Acting) Officer Md. Shahnewaz Chowdhury and various school college teachers-students and media persons were also present.
At the end, prizes are distributed among the winners of the competition.
