Popular Dhallywood couple Shabnaz and Nayeem’s debut movie “Chandni” was released on 4 October 1991. The movie completed 33 years of its release on Friday. The actor couple has also completed 30 years of their conjugal life on Saturday.

Their fans, friends, and well-wishers have sent their greeting messages to the artistes on this auspicious day. Celebrities and co-artistes also take to the social media and shower love on Shabnaz and Nayeem with anniversary wishes.

About the 33th year of “Chandni” and their marriage anniversary, Nayeem said, “33 years have been gone but I feel like our debut movie “Chandni” was released a few days ago. In this day, I and Shabnaz miss the director of the ‘Chandni’ film Ehtesham. He was our guardian in the industry. His contribution to the Bangladesh film industry is unforgettable. On the occasion of 33 years of the movie we want to pay our respect to him.”

“Though we are not working in the film industry now but the industry is like another family to us. We are very happy that after so many years the audience still remember and loves us. We are overwhelmed by them. I ask everyone please keep us in your prayers for our healthy life”, Shabnaz shared her feelings in this way.

Shabnaz and Nayeem celebrated the silver jubilee of the movie in 2016 through a programme ‘Chandni Sondha’.

Shabnaz and Nayeem, one of the most popular on-screen pairs in Dhallywood in the 90s, starred in 21 films. Their noted movies are “Sonia”, “Zid”, “Dil”, “Bisher Banshi”, “Chokhe Chokhe”, “Takar Ohonkar”, “Lorai”, “Anutopto”, “Love” and others.

In 1994, Shabnaz and Nayeem got married. Their last film was “Ghore Ghore Juddho”.
