In the beginning of June, the number of road accidents in Sylhet division was slightly lower and by the end of the month, the number of accidents increased a lot. However, no road accident occurred in Sylhet division during the Eid Yatra during Eid-ul-Azha.

In June, 30 people were killed and 45 injured in 27 road accidents in Sylhet division. This report was published by the Sylhet Divisional Committee for Safe Roads (Nischa).

According to the report, 30 people were killed and 45 injured in 27 road accidents in Sylhet division in June. Most of these road accidents have occurred in Sylhet and Habiganj districts. 13 people were killed and 26 injured in 13 road accidents in Sylhet district. 5 people were killed and 4 injured in 4 road accidents in Sunamganj district.

5 people were killed and 4 injured in 3 road accidents in Moulvibazar district and 7 people were killed and 9 injured in 7 road accidents in Habiganj district.

Co-Organizing Secretary of Nischa Central Committee, Member Secretary of Sylhet Divisional Committee and Convenor of Sylhet District Zahirul Islam Mishu said in a statement sent to the media that 5 local dailies, online newspaper information, 2 national dailies information, alleged unpublished or unpublished incidents and Nischa Sylhet branch organizations. The report also mentions that 6 motorcyclists and passengers, 13 CNG and Laguna drivers and passengers and 9 pedestrians were killed in road accidents in Sylhet division in June.
