3 Winter sports competition begins in Rangpur

The three-day 53rd winter sports and sports competition of Bangladesh National School, Madrasa and Technical Education Sports Association Rangpur Sub-Region began Sunday, at the Rangpur District School Ground. The competition will continue until next Tuesday.
On Sunday, the competition was inaugurated by Mohammad Abu Zafar, Divisional Director of the Local Government Department, Rangpur. Mohammad Abdur Rashid, Deputy Director of the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education, Rangpur Region, presided over the event organized on this occasion, and Additional District Magistrate Habibul Hasan Rumi was the special guest.
This competition has been organized with the aim of instilling a healthy competitive spirit among all schools and madrasas (entry level), vocational (9th and 10th) and SSC (vocational) level students of the Technical Education Board in Bangladesh and developing them as good citizens.
Winners of cricket, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, hockey, basketball and athletics at the district level of 8 districts of Rangpur division are participating in this competition.
