3 dead bodies recovered from flat in Ashulia

Dead bodies of three members of a family have been recovered from a building in Ashulia. The bodies were recovered around 11am in the North Vadail area.
The deceased were identified as owner of the house Bachchu, his wife Sapna Begum and their daughter Mst. Jannati.
According to locals, Bachchu lived with his wife and child in a flat on the fourth floor of the four-storey building. Their 18-year-old son lives in the same apartment.
In the morning, when the eldest son started screaming from the fourth floor, the neighbors came running. They got the door lock from inside. The three were rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors declared them brought dead.
Farida Begum, a neighbour of the victims, said: "In the morning, Swapna spoke to me and took her daughter to the school next to her house. At 10 o'clock she returned with her daughter. His eldest son was sleeping in the next room. Suddenly their eldest son woke up and saw smoke coming out from under the door of the room." People broke the door and entered the house. We saw Bachchu and his wife and small child lying on the bed. Smoke was coming out of the bed.
RAB members were present at the spot when the incident took place. Masudur Rahman, inspector (investigation) of Ashulia police station, said: "I came to know about the death of three members of the same family in Vadail. Police have been sent to the spot. Legal action will be taken after the investigation."
