
3 Bangladeshis returned by BSF in Chunarughat

The Indian Border Security Force (BSF) has returned three Bangladeshi men and women who had entered India illegally in Chunarughat, Habiganj on Tuesday. They were handed over to Chunarughat Police Station by the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB).
The returned individuals are:Bithi Howlader (25), daughter of Dolo Howlader from Galachipa Upazila, Patuakhali, Nurjahan Begum (45), daughter of Rokib Ali from Sadar Upazila, Narail and Nannu Sheikh (49), daughter of Jalal Sheikh from Singia Upazila, Narail
According to the police, they were attempting to travel to Mumbai, India for work via the Balla border in Chunarughat, using local agents, without visas or passports. After entering India on Tuesday, the BSF detained them and later handed them over to the BGB following a flag meeting at Balla border on the same day.
Chunarughat Police Station OC Nur Alam said, a case will be filed under the Passport Act, and on Wednesday they will be sent to the district jail through Habiganj court.
