27th anniversary of Bondhon celebrated at BAU

With the slogan "Blood Donation in the 27th Year of Bondhon, Fulfilling Dreams with Dedication," the blood donation organization Bondhon celebrated its 27th anniversary at Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU).
The Bondhon BAU Zonal Council marked the occasion on Friday at 4:30 p.m.
To commemorate the day, the organization held a joyous rally that started in front of the Syed Nazrul Islam Conference Hall. The rally proceeded through the Vice-Chancellor's residence, passed the KR Market, and concluded at the Bondhon office.
Following the rally, a cake-cutting ceremony and a discussion meeting were held at the Bondhon office in honor of the 27-year milestone.
The discussion meeting was presided over by Bondhon’s President, Shoaib Mim, and moderated by General Secretary Shahriar Ferdous Rifat. The event featured Professor Dr. Md. Shahidul Haque, the Student Affairs Advisor, as the chief guest. Special guests included Proctor Professor Dr. Md. Abdul Alim and Assistant Proctor Professor Dr. Mahbubul Pratik Siddiqui. Approximately 100 members of the organization attended the celebration.
In his address, Dr. Md. Shahidul Haque praised Bondhon, describing it as a unique organization committed to the welfare and life-saving efforts of the community. He emphasized that through blood donation and collection, members of Bondhon save lives and perform acts of selfless service. Additionally, he highlighted that the organization fosters teamwork and teaches students to solve problems in challenging situations.
