22-year-old accused arrested in Lalmohan

Police have arrested a 22-year-old accused named Md. Siraj (45) in Lalmohan, Bhola. He was arrested from Ward No. 11 Munshiganj Bazar of Lalmohan Municipality around 10:30 PM on Wednesday. Siraj is the son of deceased Hachan Ali of Dakshin Baluchar Rahi Bari of that ward.
It is known that in 2005, a robbery case was registered against Siraj in Bhola Charfasan police station, whose number is 13. The court sentenced Siraj to 22 years in June 2022 in that case. Since then he was absconding, on Wednesday night on the basis of secret information, SI Shaktipad Mridha of Lalmohan police station along with the Sangeet force managed to arrest Siraj. Lalmohan Police Inspector (Investigation) Md. Enayet Hossain said Siraj was arrested on Wednesday night based on secret information. He was produced before the learned court on Thursday morning.
