20 launches, 18 ferries will be operated to make smooth journey during Eid

On the occasion of the upcoming holy Eid-ul-Azha, 18 ferries and 20 launches will operate on the Daulatdia-Paturia route without interruption. Apart from this, animal laden trucks will cross on priority basis.

Upazila executive officer Joti Bikash Chandra presided over the meeting organized by Goalando upazila administration on Tuesday (June 11) at around 3:30 pm in the Upazila Parishad meeting room.

Members of law and order forces will be on the road including the ghat area to eliminate extortionists and brokers at the ghat.

Meanwhile, Joti Bikas Chandra said that everyone should work to ensure a hassle-free Eid journey. After the launch of Padma Bridge, the pressure of Daulatdia Ghat has reduced. Still, along with the pressure of the people at home on Eid-al-Adha, animal trucks will cross the river this time. as a result, people were able to easily and safely cross the ghat on the last Eid-ul-Fitr to reach their destination, this time they will also be able to reach their destination easily on Eid-ul-Azha. Still, the district administration will monitor all the matters.
