19th death anniv of freedom fighter, AL leader Mannan Mridha today

Various programs have been undertaken on Tuesday (March 5) to mark the 19th death anniversary of veteran freedom fighter MA Mannan Mridha, former president of Betagi Upazila Awami League in Betagi, Barguna.
The programs include - laying wreaths on the graves in the morning, recitation of the Holy Quran, discussion and remembrance meeting, milad, doa mahfil and tabarak distribution.
Various social and cultural organizations including Upazila and Municipal Awami League, Women's League, Sramik League, Jubo League, Swechchhasebak League, Chhatra League, Muktijoddha Sangsad will participate in the programmes of the day.
Upazila Awami League President and Municipal Mayor Alhaj ABM Golam Kabir , eldest son of the deceased, has specially requested everyone to make the death anniversary event a success and sought 'Doa' for his departed soul.
