12 people including notorious robbers arrested in Devil Hunt operation in Phulbari

The police arrested 12 people, including notorious robber Mostakim, in an overnight operation of Operation Devil Hunt in Phulbari on Tuesday and sent them to court.
The arrested are Md. Mostakim (42), son of Ain Uddin of Chakiapara village of Kazihal union no. 3 of the upazila. There are 14 cases against the arrested Mostakim, including theft and robbery. Shafiqul Islam (47), son of the late Zahir Uddin of Bajnapara village in the same union, Aminul Islam (25), son of Alachan Mia of Dadpur Malipara village in Shibnagar union no. 7, Aminul Haque Sardar (59), son of the late Kumir Uddin Sardar of Debipur village, Ariful Islam (29), son of Shahidul Islam of Paschim Gouripara village in Phulbari municipality, Parvez (27), son of Lokman Ali, Morshed Alam (30), son of Mozammel Haque, Rafiqul Islam (41), son of the late Soleman Mondal, Yunus Ali (55), son of Hasan Ali, Shafiqul Islam Lal Babu (50), son of the late Kamal Uddin, and Rabiul Islam, son of the late Aziz Uddin Mondal of the neighboring Nawabganj upazila, and Nur Amin (20), son of Abdus Salam of the same upazila. Confirming that there are various cases against the arrested people including drugs, theft, robbery, etc., Phulbari Police Station OC AKM Khandaker Mujibbul said.
There are already 14 theft and robbery cases against that robber member. There are drug cases against others. The arrested people were handed over to Dinajpur court on Wednesday.
