10 candidates filed nominations in Domar-Dimla constituency

Some 10 candidates have filed nominations for Nilphamari-1 seat (Domar-Dimla) to the Returning Officer in a very enthusiastic and joyful atmosphere.
District Returning Officer Pankaj Kumar Ghosh and Domar Assistant Returning Officer Nazmul Alam received the paoers at around 10 am on Thursday.
The candidates are Awami League's heavy weight candidate Aftabuddin Sarkar, Jatiya Party's Md Taslim Uddin, Trinamul Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Dal's ADNK Alam Chowdhury, Bangladesh Nationalist Front (BNF)'s Sirajul, Islam, Jatiya Party (JP) Mohammad Makhdoom Azam Mashrafe, Bangladesh Nationalist Movement (BNM) Zafar Iqbal Siddiqui, Zaker Party's Moltibali Rahman Latif, National People's Party Karunamoy Mallik, two independent candidates Khairul Alam Babul and Barrister Imran Kabir Chowdhury.
Aftabuddin Sarkar, a former member of Parliament after submitting the nomination papers, said that in 1971, we fought to build a non-communal Bangladesh. Today, Domar Dimla is floating in the tide of development. There has been a revolution in the country's agriculture, and there has been a drastic change in education.
District Returning Officer Pankaj Ghosh said that the candidates should continue the work of election by following the rules of election conduct. Anyone who violates the rules of election conduct will be strictly suppressed. Candidates will be able to campaign in their respective constituencies if the symbols are allotted on December 18.
