This time, the demand for sacrificial animals in 7 upazilas of Gaibandha district is 1 lakh 16 thousand 770 animals.

However, there are 21 thousand 507 animals more than that demand.

It is known that among these sacrificial cattle, cows, buffaloes, goats, and sheep are ready for sacrifice. There are various shops, online and websites for selling these animals locally.

The sale of these sacrificial animals has already started.

Meanwhile, the farmers and farmers of the district are in trouble due to the abnormal increase in the price of cow fodder. Farmers are worried about getting good prices for animals in the market by feeding food at high prices.

Gaibandha Sadar Upazila Livestock Officer Tarun Kumar Datta said, this time 23 thousand 116 animals have been kept ready in Sadar Upazila.

Among them, 6 thousand 701 bulls, 422 oxen, 3189 cows, 17 buffaloes, 11476 goats, 1311 sheep. We are always prepared for the fact that these animals may develop various diseases including heat stroke in this extreme heat. And providing those medical services.

Gaibandha District Livestock Officer Dr. Md. Masudur Rahman Sarkar said, this time there is a demand for sacrificial animals in seven upazilas of the district, there is a demand of 1 lakh 16 thousand 770 animals. 1 lakh 38 thousand 277 animals have been kept ready.
