Mahbubur Rahman Belal MP : Non-govt. education system must be nationalized for betterment of teachers’ living standard

Professor Mahbubur Rahman Belal, a member of the Central Working Council of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, a member of the Rangpur-Dinajpur Regional Team, Member Secretary of the Rangpur Divisional Development Forum, and MP for the Rangpur-3 (Sadar) constituency—stated that Non-govt education system must be nationalized for betterment of teachers’ living standard. He also said that arrangements must be made to immediately disburse welfare fund allowances to non-government teachers without subjecting them to harassment.
He was speaking as the chief guest at a discussion meeting organized by the Rangpur District and Metro branches of the ‘Adarsha Shikkhak Federation to mark International Teachers' Day, held on Monday noon at the Rangpur Zilla Parishad Community Centre.
Presided over by ‘Adarsha Shikkhak Federation Rangpur District President Principal Mohammad Abdul Gani, the meeting featured Federation Advisor Vice-Principal Maulana ATM Azam Khan as a special guest. Other speakers included Adarsha Shikhhak Federation Rangpur Metropolitan President Professor Golam Mostafa, Secretary Mafiz Uddin Sarker and District Branch Secretary Prof Shah Mohammad Hafizur Rahman.
Earlier, a large procession paraded through the city's main thoroughfares.
