Students paint murals, graffiti on walls on July Martyrs' Day in Mirzapur

School and college students participated in the mural painting and graffiti competition on the occasion of July Martyrs' Day in Mirzapur, Tangail.
This was organized by the Upazila Secondary Education Office at Deohata Alhaj Jonab Ali Bahumukhi High School on Wednesday afternoon.
According to information, students from a total of 45 educational institutions in the upazila participated in the graffiti and painting competition. Earlier, a discussion meeting was held in the Upazila Parishad meeting room in memory of the martyrs on the occasion of July Martyrs' Day.
At this time, Upazila Secondary Education Officer Md. Zulfikar Haider was present as the chief guest, Mirzapur UNO A.B.M. Ariful Islam, Upazila Assistant Commissioner Land and Executive Magistrate Md. Masudur Rahman Masud, Mirzapur Police Station OC Muhammad Rashedul Islam, Mirzapur Upazila BNP Acting President Advocate Abdur Rouf, Mirzapur Municipal BNP President Md. Hazrat Ali Miah, General Secretary SM Mohsin Hossain, Upazila Secondary Teachers Association President Md. Atiqur Rahman, General Secretary Md. Amjad Hossain, Deohata AJ High School Headmaster Md. Khorshed Alam, Upazila administration officials, various political figures, Mirzapur Army Commander Major Hafizur Rahman, Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Md. Faridul Islam, local journalists, school and college teachers and students participated.
Emon Siddiqui, the chief coordinator of the anti-discrimination student movement, Md. Azman Ali, Sujan Shikder, Sujan Miah, who was injured in July, and Andha Himel, among many others were also present.
