Jamaat holds mass procession in Natore demanding implementation of 'July Charter'

As part of a central program, the Natore district unit of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami organized a massive procession and rally on Saturday.
The event was held to demand the execution of the public mandate, implementation of the 'July Charter', restoration of law and order, and control over the rising prices of fuel, gas, electricity, and daily essentials.
The rally commenced around 10:00 AM from the front of the Natore Central Mosque. After marching through the main streets of the town, it concluded at the starting point.
Before the procession, a short rally took place, moderated by District Jamaat Assistant Secretary Md. Atiqul Islam Russel. The chief guest was Dr. Mir Nurul Islam, Ameer of Natore District Jamaat. Other senior leaders present included Nayeb-e-Ameer Prof Md Yunus Ali, District Secretary Prof. Sadequr Rahman, District Assistant Secretary Abdul Hakim, Town Ameer Rashadul Islam, Sadar Upazila Ameer Prof Mir Nurunnabi, and Chhatra Shibir District President Abu Sayeed Roni, among others.
Addressing the crowd, the speakers said, "The second independence was achieved through the sacrifice of thousands of martyrs. However, the government is delaying the implementation of the public mandate and the July Charter, despite running the state today because of the July martyrs."
Urging action from the government, the speakers emphasized that effective steps must be taken immediately to honor the public mandate, stabilize law and order, and curb the skyrocketing prices of essentials, electricity, fuel, and gas.
