Vidyananda Foundation has implemented a '10 taka haat ' for the poor in Rajbari to give some relief to the poor who are suffering due to unbridled prices of daily necessities.
Deputy Commissioner Abu Qaiser Khan inaugurated this program at the auditorium of Sadar Upazila on Thursday noon.
Among the 210 people present at the market at this time Vidyananda Foundation donates daily necessities.
Deputy Commissioner Abu Qaiser Khan spoke as the chief guest of the day-long purchase of goods at the market for Tk 10 under the chairmanship of Vidyananda Foundation board member Mohammad Jamal Uddin. Assistant Commissioner Land and Sadar Upazila Executive Officer (acting) Humaira Sultana, Sadar Upazila Parishad Chairman (acting) Rakibul Hasan Piyal as special guests.
Poor people who come to the market get the opportunity to buy 16 types of daily necessities. Among the daily necessities were rice, pulses, oil, eggs, sugar, salt, loodles, flour, fish, notebooks, pens, pulses, shoes, chickens and other products.

In the speech of the chief guest, Deputy Commissioner Abu Qaiser Khan said, I thank the authorities for implementing this wonderful initiative in Rajbari. The government is providing essential commodities including rice through TCB and OMS to prevent inflation of commodities.
Apart from this, if organizations like Vidyananda Foundation and rich people come forward, Bangladesh will move forward. He also said that the month of Ramadan is ahead. So they have organized a Tk 10 fasting market today for the helpless and hungry people. May their activities continue.
