
Yunus heads home after four-day Japan visit

Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus is flying back to Bangladesh after completing a four-day state visit to Japan.
The flight carrying Yunus and his delegation left Tokyo at 8:20am Bangladesh time on Saturday, according to state news agency Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS).
It is scheduled to land in Dhaka at 10:40pm.
During the visit, Yunus met with Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba and around 20 other key figures, according to his Deputy Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad Majumder.
He attended the 30th Nikkei Forum and held bilateral talks with Ishiba to strengthen cooperation between the two countries.
As part of the visit, six memoranda of understanding were signed between Bangladesh and Japan.
