Under the supervision of Noakhali Police Superintendent Md. Abdullah-Al-Farooq and ANM Imran Khan, Additional Police Superintendent, Begumganj Circle and Liton Dewan, Officer-in-Charge of Begumganj Model Police Station, IC Khokon Chandra Ghosh of Chaumuhani Police Outpost under Begumganj Police Station, SI (Unarmed) Jasim Al Mamun and a team of forces led by him, based on secret information, conducted a raid on the 4th floor of a small house in Mandal Para, Ward No. 7 of Chaumuhani Municipality under Begumganj Police Station on June 22 at 5:30 pm.
Accused are Md. Mosharraf Hossain Manju (45), Md. Mosharraf Hossain Parvez (26), father-Abdul Malek, Anantapur (Dhan Gazi Bari), both of Ward No. 8, No. 7 Eklashpur UP, Thana-Begumganj, District-Noakhali were arrested. At that time, the police recovered 1272 peach Yaba tablets and Tk 15,500/- cash for drug sales from the house of the arrested accused Md. Mosharraf Hossain Manju on the 4th floor and arrested them at 5:30 pm on June 22.
A case has been registered against the arrested persons under the Narcotics Control Act at Begumganj Model Police Station.
