Two killed in train accidents in Dinajpur

Two people were killed after being struck by separate trains in Chirirbandar, Dinajpur.
The incidents occurred on Friday in the morning and noon at the platform area of Chirirbandar Railway Station.
The deceased were identified as Anjuman Ara (60), wife of Afzal Hossain from Basudebpur village in the upazila, and Ziyabur Rahman (40), son of Entajul Haque from Gafur Shah Para in West Saitara village.
According to local sources, around 9:30 AM, Anjuman Ara was crossing the road near the railway station when she was hit and killed instantly by the Parbatipur-bound Dolonchapa Express train. Later, around 12 PM at the same location, Ziyabur Rahman jumped under the Banglabandha Express train as it entered the station, resulting in his immediate death.
Dinajpur Railway Police OC Raihan Ali stated that, as there were no complaints from the families and upon their request, the bodies were handed over without autopsy. Two separate unnatural death cases have been filed in connection with the incidents
