Traditional Charmonai Mahfil begins on Wednesday

The 3-day annual mahfil of the Charmonai Tarika, a country-wide, organized and popular movement of self-purification and spirituality, begins on Wednesday.(November 26). This traditional mahfil, which began in the 1920s, is held every year in the months of Agrahayan and Phalgun.
The formal activities of the mahfil will begin on Wednesday after the Zuhr prayers with the opening speech of the Chief of Bangladesh Mujahid Committee, Amirul Mujahidin Mufti Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim, Pir Saheb Charmonai. A total of seven main speeches were held every morning and evening during the three-day mahfil. The opening and closing speeches were delivered by Pir Saheb Charmonai, while the middle three speeches were delivered by the Nayeb-e-Amir of Bangladesh Mujahid Committee, Mufti Syed Muhammad Faizul Karim, Shaykh Charmonai. In addition, leading Ulama-e-Keram of the country delivered speeches at different times.
The mahfil organized by Charmonai Jamia Rashidiya Ahsanabad is managed by the Bangladesh Mujahid Committee. On the second day of the mahfil, on November 27, from 10:30 am, an Ulama Conference will be held in the presence of the country's top Ulama-e-Keram and various political leaders. On the third day, at the same time, a student gathering of the Islamic Student Movement Bangladesh will be held, InshaAllah.
The Mahfil was started in 1924. Over time, this Mahfil and this spiritual movement became the main spiritual movement of the country. The head of this movement, Maulana Syed Muhammad Fazlul Karim Rahimahullah, started direct political activities in 1987 under the name of Islamic Shasantantra Andolan, which is now known as Islamic Andolan Bangladesh. This Mahfil and movement have a strong position in the spirituality and politics of Bangladesh.
There will be more than a thousand volunteers to serve and maintain order for the devotees attending the mahfil. There is a 100-bed hospital for treatment where the country's top doctors will provide round-the-clock emergency services. There will be 5 ambulances including two water ambulances for the emergency transfer of patients. For security, there will be our own security personnel deployed along with the police-Ansar force. A team of fire service will be on standby.
KM Shariatullah, Chief Coordinator of the central media cell of Islami Andolan Bangladesh, will coordinate the media for the mahfil.
