
SSC results 2025 : Pirojpur tops Barishal Board , Barguna ranks lowest

In the recently announced SSC examination results, Pirojpur district has once again secured the top position in the Barisal Education Board in terms of pass rate, consistent with last year’s performance. Conversely, Barguna district recorded the lowest pass rate.
Professor Md. Yunus Ali Siddiqui, Chairman of the Barishal Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, confirmed the results in the presence of the Board’s Controller of Examinations, Professor G.M. Shahidul Islam on Thursday.
According to the Chairman, Pirojpur district achieved the highest pass rate this year at 65.38%. However, the pass rates across all districts under the Barisal Board have significantly declined compared to last year. In 2024, Pirojpur’s pass rate was 90.97%. Barisal district, in second place, recorded a pass rate of 57.20% (down from 90.64% last year), followed by Patuakhali at 55.72% (down from 83.80%), Bhola at 54.70% (down from 89.27%), Jhalakathi at 51.77% (down from 90.52%), and Barguna at 50.84% (down from 83.80%).
In terms of streams, the Science group recorded the highest pass rate, followed by Business Studies and Humanities. For GPA-5 achievements, the Science group led with 2,920 students, followed by 1,592 from Humanities and 35 from Business Studies.
