Sports competition, prize distribution held in Babugonj

The 48th Annual Sports-Cultural Competition and Prize Distribution Festival was held at the traditional Rashed Khan Menon Model Higher Secondary School in Khanpura of Babuganj Upazila.
Babuganj Upazila Nerbahi Officer (UNO) Farooq Ahmed was the chief guest on the occasion. Upazila Secondary Education Officer Nasreen Jobaida Akhtar was the special guest.
Former Headmaster Matiur Rahman inaugurated the sports event on Thursday morning under the chairmanship of Principal Abu Zafar Shikder. Masood Ahmed, the headmaster of Chinnarkathi Government Primary School, Ahmed Munna, president of the airport press club and Shahin Hossain,former member of the governing body of the institution, were present at that time.
Upazila Academic Supervisor Israt Jahan Neena,Government Babuganj Pilot Secondary School Principal Ibrahim Khalil, Sonali Bank Ex Manager Ansar Uddin Ahmed, Retired Senior Teacher Enayet Karim Farooq, Ex Agriculture Officer were present as invited guests in the award distribution ceremony in the afternoon conducted by Assistant Teacher Ripon Kumar Gharami.Sahdev Mukherjee, former members of the governing body of the institution, Jamal Gazi, Dalil Uddin Mollah, Moshiur Rahman Mithu, Mansoor Howladar etc. Sports and cultural programs were conducted by assistant head teacher Shafiqul Islam Badal and sports teacher Harun Or Rashid.
