Sharing joy of Eid: Over 100 families in Noakhali get gifts from UTAS

The joy of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr should not be limited to any one group but should spread to every level of society. Keeping this humanitarian message in mind, Uddipit Tarunya Sangathan (UTAS) has distributed Eid gifts among more than a hundred helpless and low-income family members in Noakhali.
The Eid gifts were distributed at the organization's office in Utas Market, Noakhali Union, Noakhali Sadar Upazila on Wednesday morning.
At the Eid gift distribution ceremony, chaired by UTAAS President Ashraful Islam Rubel and moderated by General Secretary Ismail Hossain, Noakhali TV Journalists Association Joint General Secretary and Noakhali correspondent of Nagorik Television Mohammad Sohel handed over Eid gifts to the poor and helpless people.
Local social workers Farhad Hossain, Sahab Uddin, Belal Hossain, the organization's advisors Mahbubur Rahman Bhuiyan Arju, Nakib Khan Faruk, the organization's senior vice president Ismail Hossain Jewel, and treasurer Ali Hossain Babu were present at the time.
At the event, Joint General Secretary of Noakhali TV Journalists Association Mohammad Sohel said, "To enlighten a society, we must first ensure a drug-free environment, as well as improve health and education. Only then will society move forward on the path of light, overcoming darkness."
He further said that since the Corona period, UTAAS has been working towards humanitarian and social change in this region and will continue to play an important role in preventing crime and building a just society in the future. He assured all-out cooperation in that regard.
Highlighting the social service activities of UTAAS, the organization's president Ashraful Islam Rubel said, "Since the Corona period, the organization has been standing by the helpless people and conducting various social activities out of humanitarian responsibility. In addition to awareness initiatives to prevent drugs, juvenile gangs and child marriage, important contributions have been made in health, medical treatment and education. In addition, financial assistance, food items and Eid gifts are being provided regularly to the poor and needy."
He also said that there are plans to implement larger humanitarian programs, including building houses for the poor, in the future. He sought the cooperation of the conscious and wealthy people of the society in this work.
