Saplings distributed in Sapahar as part of PM's 250 million tree plantation program

As part of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman's 250 million tree plantation program, 100 saplings of various species of trees, including peaches, fruits, and medicinal plants, have been distributed to various government offices and educational institutions in Sapahar, Naogaon.
On Monday morning, Sapahar Upazila BNP Senior Vice President Abdur Rahim distributed these saplings to various government offices and educational institutions in the upazila. The saplings distributed included various species of trees including neem, arjun, jam and olive.
Abdur Rahim handed over 26 saplings to UNO Romana Riaz for planting in the Sapahar Upazila Parishad premises. In addition, 15 saplings were distributed for planting in the Upazila Health Complex premises, 12 to Tegharia High School, 15 to Mirzapur Dakhil Madrasa and 35 to Gouripur Lower Secondary School.
While distributing saplings, Upazila BNP Senior Vice President Abdur Rahim said, "Trees maintain the balance of our environment and play an important role in ensuring a livable world for future generations. To make Prime Minister Tarique Rahman's 250 million tree plantation program a success, everyone must plant more and more trees from their respective places and take care of the planted trees."
