Saiful Islam Joy appointed PS to Principal Secretary to PM

Senior Assistant Secretary Md. Saiful Islam Joy has been appointed Private Secretary (PS) to the Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister, according to an official notification issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on Thursday.
Signed by Deputy Secretary Dr. Golam Morshed by order of the President, the gazette notification confirmed that Md. Saiful Islam Joy, who was serving as the Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) of Rupganj in Narayanganj district, has been transferred and posted to the Prime Minister's Office. Prior to this appointment, the officer was under transfer orders to the Cabinet Division. The order was issued in the public interest for immediate execution.
A 34th batch Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) Administration cadre officer, Saiful Islam Joy served as the UNO of Rupganj for nearly two years, where he led local administrative initiatives focused on preventing child marriage, curbing drug abuse, generating youth employment, and promoting environmental cleanliness. Additionally, he currently serves as the Secretary of YoFAS and the President of the 34th BCS All Cadre Association.
