RMP Special Operation : 18 arrested on various charges

In a special operation in Rajshahi metropolis, a total of 18 people have been arrested, including 1 person, in operations conducted by Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) station and DB police.
In the past 24 hours ending Friday,
a special operation was carried out in different parts of the metropolis, and 1 person was arrested on charges of attacking the anti-discrimination student movement, causing explosions, terrorist activities, and other crimes. In addition, 17 others were arrested in RMP operations, including 5 with warrants, 2 in drug cases, and 10 for other offenses.
In the special operation, Awami League activist accused Nikhil Chandra Das (47), son of deceased Niranjan Das of Ram Chandrapur Bashar Road area under Boalia Model Police Station of Rajshahi metropolis, was arrested.
Legal action has been taken against the arrested accused.
