
RMP held its monthly crime review meeting

The Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) held its monthly crime review meeting for February at 11 am on Thursdsy in the Conference Room of the RMP headquarters.
The meeting was chaired by Police Commissioner of RMP, Mohammad Abu Sufian. The session included detailed discussions on various important topics, including the law and order situation, juvenile crime, drug and illegal arms recovery, execution of arrest warrants, and the recent situation in the country.
Following the crime review for February 2025, reports were presented by each department to expedite the progress of significant cases. Additionally, special plans were devised to alleviate traffic congestion to ensure the safety of city residents ahead of Eid, and various strategies were outlined to further stabilize the law and order situation in Rajshahi metropolis. At the end of the meeting, Assistant Police Commissioner (Shahmakhdum) Md. Rafiqul Islam was given a farewell tribute on the occasion of his retirement. During this time, he was presented with a memento, his long career was remembered with respect, and heartfelt gratitude was expressed. Sincere best wishes were also extended for his future life.
The meeting was also attended by Additional Police Commissioner (Crime) Nazmul Hasan, PPM, Deputy Police Commissioner (Sadar) Mohammad Khorshed Alam, along with senior RMP officials and representatives from various police units and institutions in Rajshahi city.
