A reunion of the New and old former students of Guzia High School in Shibganj, Bogura, established in 1958, was held on Thursday.  With the slogan 'Remembering awakened, hearts connected', the reunion was held in a festive atmosphere with more than six hundred fresh and old students on the school grounds on the 3rd day of Eid. As the day progressed, the school premises became crowded with the footsteps of new and old students. Starting from the students who passed in 1968 to the newly passed students of 2024, they also came to the reunion. Even fathers and daughters, fathers and sons, mothers and daughters came to the reunion as former students. They said that such an event was like going back to the days of that school. The former students of the school became emotional after seeing familiar faces at the reunion. They did not forget to capture this reunion event on camera. A colorful joy rally was held with the participation of former students on the occasion of the reunion. After the rally, a discussion meeting was held under the chairmanship of the former headmaster of the school, Abed Hossain Mandal. The discussion meeting was addressed by former student and acting headmaster of Guzia High School, Shahinur Alam, former student Rajshahi District Joint Sessions Judge Bikash Kumar Basak, Deputy Director of Pabna Social Services Department Rashedul Kabir, former surgeon of Rajshahi District Jail Sajedur Rahman Kalu, headmaster of Bhoria High School Shah Alam, teachers Mahmudul Hasan, Kamrul Hasan Babu, Abdul Momin Munnu. Former headmaster of this school Shafiqul Islam, former assistant teacher Maulana Motahar Ali, Babu Milan Chandra Modak, Abdus Sattar, Amjad Hossain, Mezbaul Alam, Aminur Rahman, Nur Shakila Jahan and others were present. After the discussion meeting, a memento, lunch, raffle draw, and a delightful cultural program were held with the participation of past and present students.
