RDA celebrates International Women's Day

On the occasion of International Women's Day-2025, a procession and a seminar titled "Rights, Equality, and Empowerment: Development of Women and Girls” was arranged with the initiative of the Administration of Rural Development Academy as well as Gender Department at the seminar room of the academy on Monday.
The seminar was attended by the Director General (Additional Secretary) of the Academy Dr. A, K, M Wali Ullah as the chief guest.
Additional Director General Dr. Abdullah Al Mamun and Chairperson of the Ladies Club Ms Nahima Akhter were present the program as special guests.
The keynote speaker was the Joint Director of RDA Sarawat Rashid and prime discussant Director (Rural governance & Gender) Dr. Sheikh Mehdee Mohammad.
The seminar was convened and co-convener by Deputy Director Dr. Salma Mubarak and Assistant Director Sushmita Tasneem simultaneously. Officers and employees of different levels of the academy participated in the seminar.
