One killed after run over by train in Adamdighi

A khalashi named Nazim Uddin Saiful (40) died after being run over by a train while working on a railway line under Adamdighi upazila in Bogura district.
Saiful is the son of the deceased Khaybar Ali of Sandira village of Santahar UP of the upazila.
The accident took place at around 2 pm on Sunday in the Chhatiangram rail-gate area of the upazila.
Habibur Rahman, OC of Santahar Railway Police Station said, in the morning 6-7 railway khalashi were working on the line repair in Chhatiangram railway station area. Some of them went to offer Jahar prayers in the afternoon. Then khalashi Nazim Uddin Saiful and another colleague returned to work and were pulling stones.
At that time, when the Nilsagar Express intercity train from Dhaka to Chilahati reached the spot, Nazim Uddin Saiful was run over because he could not hear the sound of the train.
The body was recovered after receiving information and a UD (unexpected death) case has been filed in this incident also said the Police Officer.
